Creator and customer terms
Plain-language summary of the terms. The binding version needs review by counsel before launch.
Creators
- You keep ownership of your adapter weights. You give Weightship a licence to store them and serve them to customers while the model is listed.
- You confirm you have the rights to the training data and that the adapter follows its base model's licence.
- You're responsible for what your model is advertised to do. Models that break the content policy are removed.
- Earnings are revenue minus your share of GPU serving cost minus the platform fee, settled daily. They become payable after a 30-day hold and are paid monthly once they reach $50, through Stripe.
- If serving costs exceed a model's revenue on a day, your earnings for that model and day are zero. You are never billed for serving.
Customers
- Usage is prepaid. Credits don't expire and are refundable on request within 90 days of purchase if unused.
- Prompts and completions aren't stored by default. Request metadata (model, token counts, timing) is kept for billing.
- Models are made by independent creators. Check outputs before relying on them.
